Rule 51
Able to operate forest enterprise

(1) Community Forestry "Consumer groups may register forest enterprises outside the forest area and operate forest enterprises based on the forest products specified in the approved action plan in accordance with prevailing laws.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), a community forest user group who wants to operate a forest farm shall prepare a business plan including activities related to the potential quantity of forest produce available from the community forest and take a recommendation from the Divisional Forest Officer when registering the forest enterprise.
(3) According to sub-rule (1), if two or more community forest user groups want to jointly operate forest harvesting, the joint statement of forest produce that can be available for forest harvesting from the respective community forests and private forests, activities related to forest harvesting, between the community forest user groups A recommendation from the Divisional Forest Officer should be taken while registering the Forest Highness after preparing a business plan along with a blueprint for cost and benefit sharing.
(%) The community forest consumer group will be able to cultivate herbs and non-timber forest products in such a way that the canopy density (crown cover) of the main species does not decrease, reproduction is not reduced and sensitive forest areas and biological diversity are protected in accordance with the approved action plan for poverty alleviation through forest management.
